Dr. Keri M. Pomella graduated from Nova Southeastern College of Optometry in 1996 with a Doctorate in Optometry. She then completed a hospital based Ocular Disease Residency at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami.
Dr. Pomella has been a leading practitioner, managing partner and clinic director during a diverse career for over twenty years. She began her professional career as a Primary Care Optometrist and Extern Director for Dr. Stern’s Visual Health Center. Concurrently, she worked as a Staff Optometrist at CAC Medical Center for three years.
In 2000, she joined the Borinquen Eye Clinic and served as Clinic Director for the next five plus years. Subsequently, she become President of Advanced Eye Care of Hialeah in 2005. During her tenure at AECH she also became a Managing Partner and Staff Optometrist at Midtown Eye Care in 2007 which is now Dania Eye Care. In 2015, she moved to Express Vision Care.
Dr Pomella is a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry and has been actively involved in the Florida Optometric Association for over 20 years. She has been President of the Dade County Optometric association on two separate occasions.
